The 2015 C3 US-Arab Business Summit is pleased to announce that Mr. M.G. Abutaleb, CEO of UltiSat, will speak on broadband and satellite access in emerging markets. Mr. Abutaleb will join a distinguished list of guests including General Wesley K. Clark (ret.), Suneet Singh Tuli, the Honorable Robert D. Hormats, Dr. John Duke Anthony, and others for a Summit focused on smart urban development, global connectivity, and cyber security.

Held in New York City and Riyadh each year, C3 Summits are the fastest growing and most important interdisciplinary global conferences for senior business and healthcare professionals operating in the US-Arab World. C3 focuses on the most relevant aspects of relations between the regions: Community, Collaboration and Commerce, as it seeks to bridge divides through trade. The Summit partners with the U.S. State Department, dozens of government and business leaders, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, among other organizations.

The theme of the 2015 C3 Summit is "Smart Cities", with a focus on connectivity and cyber security. More than 60 global business leaders will address a delegation of nearly 500 attendees from over 30 countries on topics ranging from cyber security collaborative efforts, infrastructure, law, connectivity, finance and development of intelligent policy. Mr. Abutaleb will speak on connectivity in the MENA region on a panel alongside Suneet Singh Tuli and Lou Zacharilla.

General Wesley K. Clark (ret.) and M.G. Abutaleb

Mr. Abutaleb is a seasoned executive who has been involved in various segments of the telecommunications and aerospace industries since 1977. During these years, he has participated in the definition, development and implementation of a multitude of satellite and wireless communications technologies, products and services. In addition, he has held senior management positions with leaders in the satellite communications and aerospace industries. Mr. Abutaleb co-founded Innovative Communications Technologies, Inc. (ICTI) in 1989. As president of ICTI, he managed the systematic and progressive growth of this initially self-financed start-up business, through the sale of that business to a publicly traded company in 1999. Mr. Abutaleb is also co-founder of UltiSat, Inc. and holds a MSEE degree (University of Maryland), with emphasis in communications and microelectronics.

"We are delighted to have Mr. Abutaleb speak at the year's Summit. Given the importance of connectivity's role in stabilizing the Middle Est and North African communities in a post-conflict era, his experience will bring a unique perspective to the discussion," says William R. Gregory, director at C3.

M.G. Abutaleb joins a growing list of distinguished leaders who have spoken at past C3 Summits, including President Bill Clinton, Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, and Wael Fakharany.
