NetHope Global Summit 2016 (Atlanta, GA)

On November 7-11, 2016, UltiSat participated in the NetHope Global Summit held in Atlanta, Georgia at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center. NetHope, Inc. is an American consortium of over 40 American non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that specialize in improving IT connectivity among humanitarian organizations in developing countries and areas affected by disaster around the world. Over 350 attendees from NGOs across the globe attended the event.

For the third consecutive year, UltiSat was a corporate sponsor of the event.

NetHope put on an outstanding event all week with tons of educational sessions on various topics such as Connectivity & Infrastructure, Healthcare, Digital NGO, Data/Cloud, Cybersecurity, Digital Strategy, Apps for Refugees, etc.

The week ended with an amazing dinner reception at Atlanta's National Center for Civil and Human Rights. The 42,000 square foot museum was established in 2007 and connects the American Civial Rights Movement to today's Global Human Rights Movements.

We celebrated NetHope's 15th anniversary with a private event catered by Wolfgang Puck. Attendees got to enjoy the entire museum and its exhibits, many of which were very interactive and took you back in time.

UltiSat is committed to helping NetHope support its members' missions and looks forward to participating the in the NetHope Global Summit next year in Vancouver, Canada.
